I made this quirky wall art piece featuring the well-loved porcupine. I wanted to capture the unique character of the porcupine using fluid, confident lines. Then, I glazed and fired it to get the warmth you only get with clay and high-fired glazes. Finally, I used colored pencils and oil paint to enhance the textures.
