The dragonfly, in almost every part of the world symbolizes change and self realization. It's ability to move in all six directions makes it impossible to catch. I know, as a youth I tried many times. To most of us a captivating insect that can't be captured. Good weather in the spring and fall gives me the opportunity to keep my studio doors open. A dragonfly, like a helicopter, hovered inside. Attempting to get out it tired itself on a window. I gently cupped the dragonfly in my hands and set it outside. I don't have a bucket list, but if I did that would be one item marked off. I smile when I think of how many hours I spent trying to catch one and when I did, it came so easily.
