The dragonfly, in almost every part of the world symbolizes change and self realization. It's ability to move in all six directions makes it impossible to catch. I know, as a child I tried many times. A captivating insect that can't be captured.
In the recent good weather I've kept my studio doors open, an opportunity for a dragonfly to hover inside. Attempting to get out it tired itself on a window. I gently cupped the dragonfly in my hands and set it outside. I don't have a bucket list, but if I did that would be one item marked off. I smile when I think of how many hours I spent trying to catch one and when I did, it came so easily. Is there a Yoda wisdom hidden somewhere in this tale?
