Rhodochrosite from Argentina is a unique mineral known for its vibrant pink and red hues. Inside the ancient Inca silver mine tunnels, stalagmites and stalactites are formed as manganese-rich water drips and precipitates over time. These formations, with their beautiful bands of concentric growth layers, are highly sought after. Collectors often slice and polish the stalagmites into slabs, while jewelers transform them into elegant pieces of jewelry.

Cherry Creek jasper are both names used after its location in China. It is found in the Cherry Creek Mine and there is a nearby creek named Red Creek. This jasper is not rare but it is beautiful jasper.
