Black Jade from South Cowell, Australia, is a fine-grained nephrite known for its deep black color, durability, and ability to achieve a high polish—ideal for carvings and jewelry.
Rhodochrosite from Argentina - Stalagmites and stalactites are formed from precipitating water dripping from the manganese rich rock inside the ancient Inca silver mine tunnels. I used the naturally beautiful banded stalagmites as the main design element.
Indonesian gem silica, famous for its copper-infused chalcedony and vibrant blue-green coloring. This piece I cut has plumes.
Pinolith - A very rare semi-precious stone. It comes from only one place in the world, a magnesite deposit located in Lower Tauern, a mountain range of the Central Eastern Alps in Austria, where pinolith was discovered in 1873.
