A close friend asked me to make a coin with a cross for his sister and a melting clock for him, he's a Salvadore Dali fan.  He called them pocket reminders.  By attaching a memory or special meaning to the coin it would a remembrance every-time you touched the coin.  I added a hole through the pocket reminder thinking if his sister wanted she could wear the reminder as a pendent.  I discovered most people preferred them as pendents, but I still love calling them pocket reminders.
