Bryozoans are ancient aquatic creatures that look like coral but aren’t. They formed colonies, like little lace-like or twig-like structures. These fossils date back to the Early Ordovician period and are often mistaken for corals because they filter-fed rather than hunting prey. This fossil was found in the Gobi Desert.
